Welcome To Indigo
Imagine a world that’s constantly trying to flee a pursuing darkness, where a family of gods with daddy issues live on a mountain while their mortal creations cause chaos beneath their feet. That’s Indigo!
A continent divided into seven realms, Indigo is a land of whimsical politics, colourful beasts and diverse landscapes. Its people were not always divided into separate realms. Before that, they were once rampaging, bloodthirsty fanatics obsessed with pleasing their gods and killing anyone they deemed to be ‘foreign’.
When the gods intervened and created the realms, they expected the violence to subside and for peace to flourish. It did not last…
Magic, Machines & Murder
Today, Indigo is mired with mortals divided over religion and enlightenment. The former continue to serve their gods, hoping they’ll be granted magic in return. The latter reject the gods in favour of natural philosophy and academic pursuits. Nobody agrees. Nobody listens.
Amidst this divide, there are some mortals who move in powerful circles and seek to use the chaos to further their own ends. War is on the horizon, thieves are having a field day, and factions race to grow their influence across the realms through persuasive or violent means!
The Steed Trilogy
